The American Freedom Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 corporation whose purpose is to raise money and awareness for veterans' organizations, honoring and supporting the men and women who have served their country. And they do it with music.

Though broad in its scope, The American Freedom Foundation directs funds raised through its annual music festival to organizations that support wounded soldiers or families of soldiers wounded or killed during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Founded by Ted Hacker and Jack L. Tilley, the idea for the American Freedom Foundation was inspired by USO tours of Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait and Uzbekistan in 2003.

A MUSIC FESTIVAL TO SERVE THE TROOPS

The American Freedom Festival is the annual event of the American Freedom Foundation, a widely attended concert series featuring artists and others who lend their support to the U.S military mission, including a variety of country musicians, actors, dignitaries, and athletes. The Freedom Festival concert series features a diverse line-up of sponsors, from the National Guard to Outback Steakhouse - and are always accepting new sponsors. Previous American Freedom Festivals have been held in Virginia, Washington DC, and New York City.
