Veterans Welcomed Home by IAVA Rucksack Rewards Program

Posted:

Veterans Day is always celebrated on November 11, every year since its inception. Veterans Week, the week leading up to Veterans Day, has been a traditional time of marches, celebrations, and honors for America's bravest. Starting with Veterans Day 2010, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) has pioneered a new way to express gratitude to military veterans who bravely fought in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In honor of U.S military service members returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) has introduced The Rucksack - an innovative online tool that rewards returning veterans with free products.

What better way to give back to military service members who sacrifice their safety to preserve America, than to welcome veterans back home and reintroduce them fully and with open arms into the American lifestyle? The Rucksack has already rewarded over 10,000 vets with everything from free business attire to baseball tickets for their military family.

IAVA is the first and largest non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to bettering the lives of veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families. The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America IAVA want to turn their slogan `We've Got Your Back' into a national declaration. They need your support to create a truly giving environment for America's returning vets every Veterans Day, November 11th.

You can join IAVA to show returning soldiers that you appreciate their heroism and sacrifice. Paul Rieckhoff, Executive Director and Founder of IAVA, wants to initiate the best veterans week our soldiers have ever seen, every Veterans Day. Spread the word about Rucksack; join the Rucksack Facebook community and stay informed about the latest Rucksack programs, while you help spread the word about IAVA actions for Veterans Day, and for veterans everyday.
