FINRA Investor Education Foundation provides programs that teach military servicemenbers to save and invest wisely as they learn to manage their own financial futures.

In 2006, FINRA launched a multifaceted financial educational program to educate military service members and their spouses, including the free resource, SaveAndInvest.org/Military, a tool for understanding the financial markets, saving and investing.

In 2012, the FINRA Investor Education Foundation again expanded its offerings in the Military Financial Education Project.

HOW FINRA SAVES MILITARY FINANCES

The Military Financial Education project offers live educational seminars on military installations plus online resources that guide military service members to make their own best financial decisions.

The FINRA Foundation aims to reduce the numbers of service members who are exploited by investment fraud by to increase financial awareness among soldiers and their spouses.

To begin, FINRA provides free FICOr Scores for military service members. Their suite of educational videos teaches military families to manage and grow their finances.

FINRA OFFERS MILITARY SPOUSE FINANCIAL PROGRAM

Partnering with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Educationr (AFCPEr), FINRA Foundation's Military Spouse Fellowship Program covers the cost for training and materials required for military spouses to receive the Accredited Financial Counselor designation.

Military spouses are not only developing a job skill as a financial counselor, they are training to be able to help other military families manage their military finances, and grow their wealth.

Restoring and maintaining financial health is essential to strengthening the U.S. military overall.

FINRA Foundation's Military Education Project and Military Spouse Fellowship Program continue providing valuable tools for military success.
